SMA-SA Regional Roadshows

November 2014 will be a big month for SMA-SA as we run 5 conferences in the space of 3 weekends. Four of these will be in regional locations. In both Mount Gamber and Port Lincoln we will be holding two conferences - a Professional Conference Day and a Sports Trainers Conference Day.

SMA National Board Nominations

As part of the revised SMA National Board structure three (3) National Director positions will be vacated for re-election at the SMA AGM in Canberra on Saturday 18 October 2014.

SMA-SA Members are continuing to excel across the disciplines and as a result they are being held in high regard and are well sort after across the country.

Physio Master Class Series Launched

In 2014 SMA-SA is continuing on with the Master Class Series which have been offered for the last two years. These sessions are discipline specific and hands on workshop focussed.

SMA-SA Members Riding for Charity

The Redliners Classics Bicycle Club over 411 kms in 3 days in October to raise money for the Crows Foundation. SMA-SA Members will be involved with this as riders and as support crew.

Date Set for Third University Level 1 Sports Trainers Course for the Year

After the first two one day University Level 1 Sports Trainers Courses for 2014 were sold out, SMA-SA has decided to put on a third and final University Course for 2014.

The 2014 Professoinal Members Education Series sessions will follow on from the theme of the 2014 State Conference: "Dealing with Difficult Cases". The first session will cover acute and chronic injuries to the Hand.

e active 2014 will incorporate the Australian Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport (ACSMS), the National Physical Activity Conference (NPAC), and the National Sports Injury Prevention Conference (NSIPC).
