SMA-SA Members are continuing to excel across the disciplines and as a result they are being held in high regard and are well sort after across the country.
In 2014 SMA-SA is continuing on with the Master Class Series which have been offered for the last two years. These sessions are discipline specific and hands on workshop focussed.
The Redliners Classics Bicycle Club over 411 kms in 3 days in October to raise money for the Crows Foundation. SMA-SA Members will be involved with this as riders and as support crew.
After the first two one day University Level 1 Sports Trainers Courses for 2014 were sold out, SMA-SA has decided to put on a third and final University Course for 2014.
The 2014 SMA-SA Professional Members Education Series is underway with the next session on Thursday 12th June.
SMA-SA has been busy running a number of Community Courses in the Northern Suburbs.
The 2014 Professoinal Members Education Series sessions will follow on from the theme of the 2014 State Conference: "Dealing with Difficult Cases". The first session will cover acute and chronic injuries to the Hand.
e active 2014 will incorporate the Australian Conference of Science and Medicine in Sport (ACSMS), the National Physical Activity Conference (NPAC), and the National Sports Injury Prevention Conference (NSIPC). Together the three conferences will focus on current research and practice in areas relating to the promotion of, and safe participation in, all kinds of sport, exercise and physical activity. be active 2014 will provide an interactive educational forum of the highest standard, promoting the latest physical activity and health developments amongst key and influential industry professionals.
