Finally, the Basic Taping component introduces participants to the anatomy and principles of taping, with practical demonstrations of taping the ankle, fingers and thumb.

The Sideline Help component covers a range of injury prevention and management principles that can be applied at your sporting clubs, assisting sports trainers and medical staff. Covering soft and hard tissue injuries, wound management, on/off field injury assessments, common medical conditions, and more!
The Concussion component provides the most up to date information on managing the invisible injury. Outlining the signs and symptoms, management on the sidelines, as well as referral and return to play protocols.
This course is ideal for everyone involved with sport or activity - players, coaches, parents, teachers, administrators, volunteers, and more!

To complete a Level 2 Sports Trainers Accreditation Trainers must:
- Must attend each day of the course
- Have completed 12 months or 50 hours working as an Accredited Level 1 Sports Trainer (to be completed by the first day of the course)
- Be a current Accredited Level 1 Sports Trainer with SASMA or SMA
- Have a current Applied First Aid & CPR Certificate (with a minimum of 3 months validity)
- Current Asthma First Aid for Sport Certificate (Asthma Australia) - Asthma First Aid for Sport | Asthma Australia (asthmaonline.org.au)
- Play By the Rules Online Training Certificate** (to be completed by the first day of the course)
