SA Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) is excited to welcome Michael Wilson, Port Power Premiership Player and Physiotherapist, as this years key note speaker at the 2016 FAST Conference.
Michael played at the top professional level with an impressive 192 game career with Port Power. He was also crowned AFL Rising Star in 1997.
In 2004, he became a three time Premiership player with Port Adelaide, having won two premierships with the Magpies in 1995 & 1996.
Sadly Michaels career was littered with serious knee and shoulder injuries over the years, as well as then rupturing his achilles tendon during the 2007 preliminary final.
Now working as a physiotherapist and competing in Ironman triathalon competitions, Michael brings a wealth of skills and knowledge to our 2016 FAST Conference as keynote speaker.
Along with Michael, other presenters locked in for the conference include:
- Tory Toogood, Physiotherapist and represented Australian at the Olympics in Rowing
- Tim Kreis, Physiotherapist and works with Sturt Football Club and the Adelaide Lightning
- Kristian De Pasquale, Podiatrist, works with Port Power and ex SANFL Footballer
With such a calibre of speakers and presenters, this conference is one not to be missed. Tickets are still available and can be booked online at
