Level 1 Sports Trainers Courses
July 24, 2013

Between the 18th July and the 21st July SMA-SA ran two Level 1 Sports Trainers Courses in Adelaide and had 46 people attend across the two events.
The first of these courses was our traditional 2 day Level 1 course with 18 in attendance and learning from presenters including physiotherapist Tory Toogood, nurse Sue Pascoe and Level 2 Sports Trainer Carol Goddard. All of which are experienced in their specific fields across a range of sports.
On the 21st July, 28 University Students and Graduates attended the one day Level 1 Sports Trainers Course for Health and Medical Science Students. This course has been designed specifically for those in second year and above of Health and Medical Science degrees including Physiotherapy, Human Movement, Nursing, Podiatry and Medicine. This was a very interactive day and the attendees had the opportunity to hear from Dr Mark Ralfe, physiotherapists Harry Roesch and Natale Tyson, nurse Sue Pascoe and sports scientist Daniel Clark.
SMA-SA would like to thank all the presenters for the time and effort they put into not just these two courses but all of our community courses run over the year so far. One of the great parts of our courses is the level and qualifications of our presenters.
Some photos of both of these sessions have been posted on the SMA-SA facebook page.
Check out the Events Calendar to see when the next Sports Trainers courses are being run near you.
