SANFL Community Football Grants

SANFL Community Football Grants

Are you a football club wanting to improve the skills and capabilities of your sports trainers? The SANFL Community Football offer grants that can cover up to 75% of education course costs for your club.

The SANFL benefits grants aim to increase opportunities for people to participate in football in South Australia and include three funding categories: 
- Education Programs
- Participation Programs
- Event Hosting

Eligible projects include education of coaches, sports trainers, umpires, officials and administrators through recognised training bodies which includes us here at SA Sports Medicine Association (SASMA). To view the full grant details and guidelines please click here. 
 

This is an incredible initiative being offered which will help grow participation in football across South Australian and also ensure that club officials, particularly Sports Trainers,  are adequately educated, accredited and can help make community sport safer.

SASMA offers a range of education courses that can help improve the skills and capabilities of sports trainers at your club. These include (but not limited to):
- Level 1 Sports Trainer 
- Level 2 Sports Trainer 
- Concussion Management
- Spinal Management 
- Sports Taping
