2017 FAST Conference & Sports Trainer of the Year Awards

SA Sports Medicine Association (SASMA) is pleased to announce that the 2017 FAST Conference will be held on Sunday 26th February at the Adelaide Oval & is proudly sponsored by National Pharmacies.
We have assembled a line-up of high quality speakers including Keynote Speaker, Former Adelaide Thunderbirds Head Coach, Jane Woodlands-Thompson and Dr Marc Cesana, Adelaide Football Club Team Doctor.
Other presenters will include:
· Rachel McAlister, APA Sports Physiotherapist and current lead Physiotherapist for the Australian Women’s Basketball Team.
· Sam Offord, Physiotherapist and two time Commonwealth Games Medalist.
· Jarrod Meers, current Player Education Coordinator at Adelaide Football Club and former Elite Development Coach at SANFL Level.
Registrations are now open and early bird will close on Thursday December 1st. Places are limited in each of the afternoon workshops so register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot!

SASMA is also excited to announce that the inaugural Sports Trainer of the Year Awards will be held as a cocktail function on Saturday 25th February, the night before the FAST Conference, at the Stamford Plaza. This format will allow guests, family members, clubs and associations the opportunity to attend and celebrate Sports Trainers together.
Nominations are now open for the following awards:
· Regional Sports Trainer of the Year
· Metropolitan Sports Trainer of the Year
· Young Sports Trainer of the Year
